英国軍40’s のグルカパンツがベース。サイドアジャスターベルトなどでウエストを調整するものが有名だが、こちらの初期タイプはウエストフロント部の長めの持ち出しでサイズを調整する仕様。ベルト部分には特徴的なボタン留めのループタブが配されている。テイラードパンツで使用されるプリーツ入りのマーベルトと、芯地を使用し吸いつくような腰回りの着心地を実現。ワタリから裾にかけてストレートでワイドなシルエットのパンツ。

生地は縦横共に20/２の強撚糸を使用したツイル生地を使用。強撚糸特有のシャリ味のあるドライタッチな風合いと、シワ防止加工（リンクルマジック）を施し綿100％でもシワになりにくい特徴も備えています。綿100%にしてはウールのような珍しくしなやかなドレープのある生地。
